Great for some items, not for others. Packaged and bottled items generally fine with plenty of choice and reasonable pricing. Fresh greens are mostly fresh and good, however, always have to inspect them to make sure. I see overripe fruit regularly, and the Chinese greens are usually wilted. Meats are only average. Breads and gourmet packaged foods consistently good. So as long as you’re careful and selective, it’s worth going to for most grocery items. There’s another supermarket available nearby for the rest.
I came here to buy honey – it has a great selection of local honey, sourced from Margaret River as well as Perth. I would highly recommend this place. Customer service was excellent.
Fabulous selection of Australian & European cheeses
Farmer Jacks puts bargain-priced fruit and veg out the front to compete with Coles and lure customers into its high-end offerings in store. And the store has all kinds of produce that you're not likely to see in the bigger stores; boutique chocolates, kimchee, exotic and new season fruit; this is a place that can satisfy the bargain hunters as well as foodies.
Great quality fruit and veg, a great range of meat at great prices.
Clean and neat place which feels more natural then the coles next door. Very good however can be hard to find some stuff at times.
Good range and good prices. A welcome alternative to Coles and Woolies. A lot of the items are better quality than these mainstream stores as well. Recommended.
Best venue in Claremont Quarter for local fresh produce at reasonable prices. They also offer a very large range of meats and seafood at very reasonable prices compared to the nearby national supermarket chain store. Worth the visit
